We have developed a (4) step plan to provide an extremely cost-effective service for our customers. We call it the don't reinvent the wheel plan...

1.      The first step in my process is to focus on the big picture. in most cases it's eliminating the risk of old failing equipment with out-of-date parts and refrigerant.

2.      Walk the building with the person with the best understanding of the history of the comfort level of the building. Gain an understanding of any comfort issues. In my experience there are usually only a few spaces in a building that are not sized or designed correctly. If it’s not broken, then there is no need to fix it. We usually don’t see any reason to perform full building load or design calculations, only on the spaces that are not comfortable.

3.      We will then choose equipment that is the most cost effective. Our goal is to stay within the same tonnage, physical dimensions, weight, electrical loads, and duct/piping connections. This practice eliminates most of the need for structural and electrical engineering. If structural work is required, I have plenty of experience to provide budget numbers for this work.

4.      By default, equipment that meets Washington Energy and Mechanical Codes will be more efficient and reduce carbon.

(If you would like a mechanical, structural or an electrical engineer to confirm our findings we have access to several engineers that are more then willing to review.)
